Being a Hypnotherapist and vocalist having also played guitar and keyboards over many years (performing solo and with bands) I find this article a fascinating read.
I never cease to be amazed at the power of trance states and what is possible using hypnotherapy (when it is carried out professionally).
Besides training in Los Angeles and London with the late Gil Boyne I studied alongside Dr John Butler (who regularly performs operations in London without anaesthetic using hypnotherapy) I myself have also helped clients in my Warrington office to use hypnotic trance for pain relief or in reducing pain (before during and after operations) with great success.
Some people mistakenly believe that they cannot go into trance because they know only of stage show hypnosis, whereas people who realise that hypnotherapy trance states are different from stage show hypnosis (which works for less than 5% of the population) understand that almost everyone can go into trance.
